Heather & Alec | Married

My last wedding of 2018 and what a fitting way to end the year with the wedding of my sister-in-law Heather and her man Alec. Their best day ever was bitterly cold, but everyone embraced the chill for these two lovebirds! Despite the temps, the day was full of fun and laughter. I am so happy to have had the honor of being a bridesmaid and documenting their special day along with my dearest friend Lauren who captured most of these photos below. I couldn’t have done it without her! So many congratulations Heather and Alec!

Jon & Sarah | Indianapolis Library Wedding

It’s been quite a while since I blogged on here, but I am so honored and excited to write about this wedding! Jon and Sarah’s beautiful day was not only filled with the most beautiful details, but it was more so filled with sweet families, helpful friends, and happy, oh so happy tears.

I was beyond humbled when Jon asked me if I would meet him and Sarah for coffee one snowy morning in Indianapolis to talk about photographing their wedding. Jon and I work together at One Click, and I am always beyond words when people I know ask me to photograph one of their most special days. I felt like I instantly knew them as a couple when I sat down with them that day. They are two beautiful, trusting souls that I am so blessed to have met. Thank you both for allowing me to follow you around for the day. Mazel tov!

Jess & Peter | Married

Let me first start off by saying.. I love this family. I met Jess and Peter last year when I photographed Jenni and Drew's wedding (see here), and as soon as I knew they were engaged, I hoped and hoped that I would get an email from Jess to photograph their wedding! I am one lucky gal because this year, I had the utmost privilege of documenting Jess and Peter's wedding day!

With a bit of vintage flair, Jess and Peter's wedding was full of love, tears, and laughter. I am so ecstatic for these two lovebirds! I could not have been more blessed to end my 2017 wedding season with the celebration of Jess and Peter's love. Thank you, Jess and Peter, for trusting me to photograph one of the most important days of your lives. Thank you to all of my clients, past and present. I am forever thankful.

Here's Holland!

Many of you have seen them on my Instagram and website quite often, but my dear friends and neighbors just welcomed a little one into their cute, little family! I couldn't be more happy for Brooke and Eric! I was so honored to see baby Holland just a couple days after she was born! She is a sweet, quiet little babe who tolerates her fur siblings' curiosity of her. I can't wait to see this little baby girl blossom into a confident, loving young lady in the next few years! Congratulations, Stoff family!

The McAllisters

The wedding of these two lovebirds is gracing my computer screen today. Ashlee and Michael's wedding was such a joy to witness. Their love story is amazing, and I hope that I captured a least a glimpse of how truly wonderful these two are for each other. The day was so go-with-the-flow and that makes it one of the sweetest. I am so blessed to photograph days like these! Congratulations, Ashlee and Michael!

The Saylers

I met Jess and Ian on their wedding day in Naperville, IL, and what a beautiful day it was! Jess and her maids got ready in Jess's beautiful, childhood home while the boys got ready downtown. Everyone was full of excitement as we drew nearer and nearer to the ceremony! Love was so evident that day. Love from their friends, love from their families, and the love that Jess and Ian have for one another. I was so honored to document their day! Below are a few highlights! Congratulations, Ian and Jess! I hope married life is truly amazing!

Elizabeth + Jacob

Oh, ya'll. Jacob and Elizabeth are such caring souls. We ventured throughout different spots in Indianapolis to capture their engagement session, and I had the best time! Their love is so completely evident. Jacob was making Elizabeth smile from ear to ear the entire time! While downtown, I parked in an unfortunate spot and got completely blocked in.. To kill time, we went to a local restaurant where Jacob works. They introduced me to their friends, and we sat and talked until Daniel came to rescue me. I am so grateful for their patience and sweet kindness. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in October! Congratulations, Elizabeth and Jacob!

p.s. During their session, they brought their cute little fur babies! It was the best!

The Daileys

My dear friend Krystal got married last weekend, and I couldn't be more ecstatic for her and Austin! I met Krystal at Indiana Wesleyan in the Photography program. It is safe to say that we became instant friends, keeping each other sane through the long nights of shooting and editing in the studio. I cherish her friendship so much. She is always a listening ear and provides love and encouragement at the exact moment you need it. I was so humbled when she asked me to photograph her and Austin's wedding. I was able to watch Krystal and Austin grow as a couple throughout IWU, and it was obvious how happy Austin made her. It was even more obvious on their wedding day! Congratulations, Krystal and Austin! Love you both!

The Thackers

I met Kristi and Brandon about a year ago. Kristi found me online, and I'm so glad she did! These two are just the cutest and goofiest around. They had their wedding at Purdue University, and even though there was a forecast of rain all day in Lafayette, IN, the heavens opened and let some sunshine out-- just in time for us to coordinate everyone for photographs! So much rejoicing! All of their friends were a blast, and both of their families were so welcoming. So many congratulations to you both, Kristi and Brandon! #cametobethacker

The Masons

It doesn't happen very often, but I met Megan and Ben on their wedding day! And cross my heart, it felt like we had known each other for the longest time. The love that they share and the love that their families have for them is immeasurable. I cannot thank them enough for trusting a gal that they just met, and I cannot congratulate them enough on their beautiful marriage. I wish you just the absolute best, Megan and Ben!

Brooke + Eric | Maternity

I've been friends with Brooke and Eric for quite a while now, and we are even neighbors! These two are such a joy to be around; they emit pure joy! We have done a TON of photo sessions together, but this one was a bit more special because another little person was around!

Brooke and Eric are expecting a baby girl this summer! Holland Stoff. I can't wait to meet her! I'm sure she will be as joyful as her parents! I'm so happy for your little family, you two. Congratulations!

Krystal + Austin

Well this session is near and dear to my heart, folks. This sweet girl that you will see in these photos is a dear, dear friend. Krystal and I studied photography together at IWU, and I was so humbled and excited that she wanted me to photograph her and Austin's engagement and wedding!

Krystal and Austin have been together for almost as long as I have known Krystal. And I know he's an amazing guy because I always see her smiling from ear to ear whenever he is around! These two are so precious together, and I could not have had a better time with them! We ventured out at sunrise and then grabbed donuts to end our morning session!

I can't wait for your wedding next May! Congratulations, you two! Love you dearly!

Liz + Sean | Married

When I met Liz and Sean last year and photographed their engagement, I just knew their wedding was going to be a dream! They love to flirt and have fun with each other and aren't afraid to do so in front of the camera. LOVE that about a couple!

On their wedding day, everyone was watching the weather. We were all huddled around smartphones worried that the rain was going to damper this beautiful day. Luckily for all of us, the rain only stayed with us during the ceremony, and the sun was shining as soon as Liz and Sean said, "I do!" I couldn't be more happy to share this special day with them. With all of a big details and the little ones in between, it was just a beautiful day for such a deserving couple!

Congratulations, Liz and Sean! I wish you all the best as the Homans!

Jenni + Drew | Married

Just a few weeks ago, I had the honor of photographing Jenni and Drew's downtown Indianapolis wedding, and let me tell you, it was beautiful. We had to fight off wind, rain, and a bit of city traffic, but it was magical nonetheless! Jenni and Drew were just as I remembered in their engagement session: so GIDDY. There were giggles on top of giggles. Not a straight face in sight. It could make the coldest heart all warm and fuzzy.

Jenni and Drew, it is plain to see how wonderful you two are for each other. I was so honored to document your day! Congratulations on your new journey as the Levys!

Catherine + Stephen | Married

After communicating back and forth via email for the past few months, I finally met the beautiful Catherine and her handsome man Stephen. Let me tell you guys, you feel like a part of the family right away with these two and their awesome friends and family. Catherine and Stephen met in high school and have been dating ever since, but their love story wasn’t always easy, as they went to different colleges, Anderson University and Ohio State. So one can only imagine the sweet relief of being able to live in the same apartment together as “the Browns”, let alone the same state! As Catherine was telling me their love story, I found out that we are going to basically be neighbors in a few short weeks! How cool is going to be to hand deliver their wedding photos instead of sending it via snail mail?!

Catherine and Stephen, it was such an honor to get to spend the day with you two. Thank you, thank you, thank you for trusting me and providing me with the privilege to document your special day. The #abrownhaus wedding was such a success! Cheers to a wonderful life of happiness and love!

Kim + Justin | Married

Rainy roofs, lush garden flowers, and an easy going couple. Kim and Justin's wedding was beautiful. I met Kim and Justin last October to photograph their engagement. Despite only knowing them during a few of their milestones, I felt like I have known this couple for a long time! Kim is such a warm and welcoming person. On their wedding day, she was concerned for others before herself, and despite the rain, she was positive and having a wonderful time laughing with her maids. Justin is just as good-hearted with a hint of silliness. His priorities, besides getting married to his stunning bride, were dancing around and joking with his best buds!

I am so grateful to know the two of you. All the best to you both! Congratulations, Kim and Justin!

Kira + Tyler | Married

Getting ready in tiny cabins. Fairy lights perfectly strewn along the ceiling. Mixed-matched bridesmaids' dresses. Wearing mom's old wedding shoes. On a warm May afternoon, Kira and Tyler were surrounded by friends and family from near and far to celebrate the two becoming one. Despite the forecast predicting rain, we were blessed with wispy clouds and a kiss of sunshine. The day was spectacular!

Kira and I had talked about me photographing her wedding at my own wedding! It is hard to believe that it has almost been a full year since we both giddily discussed her and Tyler's wedding. I was so blessed to be a part of your special day. You both are beautiful! Many, many congratulations to you!! Have fun being newlyweds!

Lauren + Sean Maternity Session

My friend Elise messaged me a while back to set up a sweet gift in the form of a maternity session for her sister Lauren. I don't get a lot of maternity sessions, but when I do, and it's a surprise, I get super stoked! Lauren and I had been messaging back and forth to match up schedules. Indiana weather (rain, rain, and more rain) made it difficult to find a day that worked for us. Lo and behold, the evening that worked for us was this past Mother's Day!

Lauren and Sean's maternity session was in Kokomo, Indiana. Where the weather was perfect, and Lauren and Sean were amazing. Little Baby S was even kicking part of the time to join in the fun! I am so excited to share this session with you all! Congratulations, Lauren, Sean, and Baby!

Jenni + Drew

Let me tell you all something... It was very, very difficult to choose between my favorites from this downtown Indianapolis engagement session. Jenni and I have been emailing back and forth since last year. So, it was so wonderful to finally meet her and Drew face-to-face. As soon as I lifted the camera to take a test shot, Drew began to giggle. Right at that moment, I knew this couple was going to be a blast!

With Drew giggling away, Jenni began to laugh (which then made me laugh naturally). That was pretty much how the entire evening went, and I could not have been happier! I cannot wait to document this couple's wedding later this year! Thank you Drew and Jenni for running around downtown Indy with me! I'm so ready to do it all over again for your wedding! Congratulations, you two!

Amber + Jonathan

I met Amber and Jon because a mutual friend nudged them my way, and I am SO happy they did. All three of us hit it off right from the start! Amber and Jon live in a cute Carmel apartment with their two adorable kittens. We sat and talked about their wedding day (that I get to document next February! Heck yes!) and then we began our engagement session adventure in downtown Carmel, Indiana.

It was a bit chilly outside. So in between locations, we sat in their warm car and talked about what we all did for a living. Jon said that he had a long job title that sounded fancier than it actually was - I think he was being modest! Amber told me that she interns at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center. Then she proceeded to tell me all the cool and fairly chilling stories that happened while she was on the job!

I am so grateful to have met Amber and Jon, and I'm very excited for this couple and their future marriage! I can't wait for your wedding day next year!
